Karl Quilter was schooled at the Salt Lake Art Center, and the University of Utah, where he received degrees in Sculpture, and Industrial Design under the study of Dr. Avard Fairbanks. Karl’s more popular works include the angels and oxen for the LDS temples. Recently he completed a life size bronze monument dedicated to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Karl’s career highlight has been the commission to sculpt the angels for the LDS temples throughout the world. In all, Karl’s angels are on over 100 temples. His most recent design can been seen on the Nauvoo Temple. Click here to see some of his religious works.
